Sales Administration Assistant Vacancy at Flame Tree Publishing (London)

Illustrated books, calendar and stationery publisher, Flame Tree Publishing based in Fulham, is looking for bright and confident team member to support our sales staff.

The successful candidate will be the main point of communication for our trade and retail customers and will be responsible for all processing all orders received at our Fulham head office. Duties will also include opening new accounts, sending out catalogues, samples and sales information in addition to responding to enquiries from existing customers, processing customer orders and attending trade fairs and exhibitions.

You must be a confident Microsoft Excel user and a flexible fast learner who is not afraid to ask questions. A confident telephone manner, the ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and an abundance of common sense is a must. General computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Sales experience is desirable though not essential.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Reception / Sales Administration Assistant Vacancy at Flame Tree Publishing (West London) - NOW CLOSED

Illustrated books and gift publisher, Flame Tree Publishing, is looking for an intelligent and motivated team member to provide reception duties and support the Sales and Customer Service teams.

The successful candidate must have a proven and confident telephone manner, and will be responsible for receiving and sending all post/packages and welcoming guests. Other duties will include order processing, sending out catalogues, samples and sales information, helping to organise trade fairs and exhibitions and supporting the customer service team with queries and general administration tasks.

The candidate must be a flexible fast learner, with office experience who is not afraid to ask questions. They will have the ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, have attention to detail, and an abundance of common sense. General computer literacy and proficiency in Excel and Word is essential.

Editorial Assistant Vacancy at Flame Tree Publishing (London)

We have a vacancy for an intelligent and organised self-starter who is interested in art and photography and likely to be looking for a second job in publishing.

You will work across book, calendar and stationery publications, e-books and rights supporting the editorial team and working on multiple projects at a time. Tasks will include maintaining project spreadsheets, checking layouts and plotter proofs, taking in editorial corrections, picture research and planning, liaising with external picture suppliers and editorial freelancers, writing captions, cover copy and blogs and helping to ensure projects are seen through to completion on time and to a high standard.

Relevant experience is preferable. You must be a flexible fast learner, and not afraid to ask questions. You must have attention to detail, research skills, a good eye for images, good grammar and writing skills and an abundance of common sense. General computer literacy and proficiency in use of non-mathematical Excel and Word is essential.

Salary commensurate with experience.
