We’re very excited to announce the authors included in our upcoming anthology: Africanfuturism Short Stories! Earlier this year, we opened for submissions from writers across Africa and the African diaspora, in order to add fresh voices to some established and classic writing that centres visionary and speculative stories in and about Africa. The book, due to be published in mid-August this year, combines stories selected from open submissions with selected contemporary and modern stories. With a foreword and a new story by Afritopian author Minister Faust, an Introduction by 'sarungano', author and professor Yvette Lisa Ndlovu, and editor supreme and co-founder of Omenana magazine Chinelo Onwualu as Associate Editor, this new offering in the Flame Tree Gothic Fantasy series expands upon the exciting storytelling of the most multi-faceted of continents.
