We’re delighted to present the authors selected for inclusion in Sun Rising Short StoriesPublishing in October 2024, this latest book in our Gothic Fantasy series features the usual mix of new and old: fresh stories by modern writers selected from submissions, alongside classic tales about the sun from storytelling traditions around the world. With a foreword by planetary scientist Ravit Helled, the book explores the enduring fascination with solar entities, including our own star, in life and fiction. There will also be mythology, folklore and indigenous tales from the African continent, North and South America, Asia, Europe and Oceania.
