Myths, Gods & Immortals | Contents Announcement | Odysseus

Posted by Gillian Whitaker

We’re excited to present the list of stories featured in our new Odysseus book! Selected from open submissions, eighteen tales by modern authors retell Odysseus’ life and journey, imagining alternative paths, deeper backstory and different viewpoints for this famously cunning wanderer of Greek myth. With a foreword by Edith Hall, and an extended introduction by Silvia Montiglio exploring the original sources and historical perceptions of Odysseus, this latest volume promises to be a real treat. It publishes in April 2026, alongside The Valkyries. Our thanks go once again to everyone who submitted a story for consideration to this theme, with many congratulations to the selected authors below.
