Beyond the Veil | Horror Anthology Announcement

We’re delighted to present the  contents list for our upcoming  FLAME TREE PRESS Horror anthology,  Beyond the Veil, the second title in collaboration with editor  Mark Morris. The follow-up to last year's After Sundown, praised by Booklist as a rich and masterful collection of horror, it will be available from October 2021 (in time for Halloween)! This new anthology contains 20 original horror stories, 16 of which have been commissioned from some of the top names in the genre, and 4 of which have been selected from the 100s of stories sent to Flame Tree during a 2-week open  submissions window.

Gothic Fantasy | Successful Submissions | Terrifying Ghosts

We’re delighted to present the final line-up of authors in our Terrifying Ghosts Short Stories anthology, due for release in April 2021 (UK) and June 2021 (US). As one of the latest titles in our Gothic Fantasy series, this new collection similarly pairs stories from modern authors with older, classic fiction from the genre. We received nearly a thousand stories in our call for submissions on this theme, so after several months narrowing down the selection we are excited to share the results!
